October 27 2013:
Today I made chocolate cake and ratatouille. The occasion: Niki and her family were coming over for dinner. It's really fun to cook when they come over because it's a challenge to find foods that are vegan. We had potatoes, quinoa salad, bharta, broccolini, ratatouille, and pita for dinner and then vegan ice cream and chocolate cake for dessert. It was really fun to talk with Niki and really catch up.
My song of the day is Some catching up to do by SAMMY. Because Niki and I had some catching up to do.
